The Kamiakin No. 1 doubles team of Demi Warner and Ali Welch were among the survivors of first-round play at the Tri-City Invite at various high schools in the Tri-Cities.
"They're doing what they should do," Braves coach George Carlson said.
Competition starts at 8 a.m. today and will continue through to the championship round at 1 p.m.
