Tonight on the way home from preschool, my son told me something.
"I told everyone at school today you are 29," he said.
"Really?" I asked thinking 29 sounds pretty good right now.
"Yep," he says, "and I told them daddy is 70!"
I am not sure who should be more concerned by this declaration, myself or my husband.

A Nebraska school district has banned a necklace that looks like a rosary after police told officials it’s also being worn by gang members.
Fremont Superintendent Steve Sexton told KETV-TV the policy is to protect students. He says police told school leaders the necklace is being used as a symbol of gang affiliation.
Omaha Catholic Archdiocese Chancellor Rev. Joseph Taphorn says Christians shouldn’t have to give up a symbol of their faith because others misuse it.

Prompt action by two Richland boys helped the fire department put out a fire before extensive damage was done. Patrick Linn, 10 and Stanley Miller, 8, both of Richland were sitting on the lawn at 1123 Cottonwood Drive when they saw flames in a window next door. They told their parents who told the boys to pull the fire alarm on a telephone pole on the corner.

Two boys gave Mrs. Odette Moore, Kennewick, a leaflet advising her to vote the Democratic slate. "The Republicans hired us too and they're just as good," the boys told Mrs. Moore, "but the Democrats pay more so we just threw the Republican leaflets in the creek."
