The Patriots (20-3) won their second district championship in three years and qualified for state for the fourth straight year.
Derek Stratton added 23 points and 10 rebounds for LC, which avenged an early-season loss to the Vikings.
Earlier, Tekoa-Oakesdale eliminated Waitsburg-Prescott 59-51. W-P finished 16-8.
Hermiston 80, Madras 41
HERMISTON -- Brad Irwin scored a career-high 35 points on 13-of-20 shooting, including 5-of-6 from 3-point range, and Hermiston won its seventh straight to capture the IMC's No. 2 berth to the Oregon 5A state playoffs.
The Bulldogs earned a first-round bye and will travel to Mid-Willamette Conference champion Crescent Valley (15-8) at 5 p.m. next Saturday.
Johnny Kayembe added 21 points and 17 rebounds for Hermiston.
Regis 56, Umatilla 51
UMATILLA -- Ruben Navarrete scored 20 points and grabbed seven boards for Umatilla (16-8), but the Vikings couldn't hold on to a 39-35 lead after three quarters and fell to Regis in the first round of the Oregon 3A state playoffs.
"It was unfortunate that a couple of shots didn't go in for us, but this was our best ball game we've played in years," said Umatilla coach Tony Villanueva, who added that he was retiring as head coach after a 15-year career that included 212 wins and eight state berths.

Theodore Mendoza and Kevin Melendez, both 17, were booked this morning by Umatilla police on suspicion of first-degree manslaughter.
They're accused of beating Mario Calvillo Ramirez, 27, near the Crossroads Truck Stop in Umatilla, said Umatilla County District Attorney Daniel Primus.

A 34-year-old man died in a shooting over the weekend in Hermiston.
Heriberto Aparicio Garcia of Hermiston was pronounced dead at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston after arriving at the hospital around 4 a.m. Saturday, Umatilla County District Attorney Dan Primus said.
Jesus Carrillo Jr., 25, was arrested Sunday and booked into the Umatilla County jail, Primus said.

Food services manager Mike W. Mathisen, who was on paid leave during an investigation and resigned in November, said he did not misuse money and provided documents for the investigation.
He told The Oregonian that "after five months of waiting for the investigation to be completed, I decided to resign and pursue other things."
