YAKIMA -- Spencer Hessler and Michael Weisner scored 19 points apiece for Walla Walla as the Blue Devils rallied to upset second-ranked Eisenhower 81-67 and claim their first CBBN 4A boys district championship since 1990.
Hessler scored 12 of his 19 in the second half, and Walla Walla went 21-for-25 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter for the decisive edge.

WENATCHEE -- Anthony Scales led a balanced Pasco attack with 19 points, and the Bulldogs earned a rematch with Richland by winning at Columbia Division champion Wenatchee in the CBBN district tournament.
Pasco beat Wenatchee two weeks ago in overtime in its season finale, starting the Panthers on a spiral in which they've lost three of their last four games.
"I think beating them at home gave our kids a feeling that we could play with them," said Pasco coach Chad Herron. "The first time up here, we played our worst game of the year, so the kids came up here with something to prove."
Robert Montao added 15 points, and Andre Griffin and Jeramie Streicher added 10 apiece for the Bulldogs, who led 21-11 after one quarter.

YAKIMA -- Calvin Douglas and Clint Smith both recorded double-doubles to lead Richland over Davis in a regional seeding game.
The Bombers will play at Pasco today in another regional seeding game.
Douglas led all scorers with 16 points to go with 12 rebounds and Smith and 10 points and 10 rebounds.

SUNNYSIDE -- Alfredo De La Barrera scored 15 points and grabbed eight boards, Pedro Vargas added 14 points and Sunnyside walked over Hanford in a CBBN 3A loser-out game.
"We outrebounded them 30 to 25 and we had 19 total assists," Grizzlies coach Ron Rowe said. "We played good defense."
Kyle Wagar had 18 points to lead the Falcons.
