Boys roundup: Prep stays alive in SE 1B district

ENDICOTT -- Sergio Lopez and Ryan Mercado scored 16 points each, and Tri-Cities Prep stayed alive in the Southeast 1B district tournament with a 58-43 win over host St. John-Endicott.

The Jaguars will play Touchet, a 48-31 loser to Rosalia in the title game, today for the district's second state berth.

Touchet beat Prep in overtime in the semifinals last Saturday.
