Boys roundup: Prosser eyes district berth

PROSSER --Kirby Moore had 20 points, five boards, five assists and four steals, and Prosser outscored Grandview 35-12 in the second half to pull out a 66-43 CWAC boys win Tuesday night at Bowden Court.

The Mustangs just need to win at last-place East Valley on Friday to secure a district berth.

MADRAS, Ore. -- Brad Irwin scored a game-high 26 points and Hermiston inched closer to clinching a 5A state playoff berth by rolling to an IMC victory.

The Bulldogs need only a win in their final two games or a Pendleton loss to earn a return trip. They can accomplish their goal with a home win over the Buckaroos on Thursday night.
