She won district titles on the vault, uneven bars and floor exercise en route to capturing the all-around title with a 35.7 score.

Debbie Molsbarger, Sr., Connell
She had 16 points and seven assists in a victory over Kiona-Benton, and 19 points and three steals in a win over River View.

Robert Montano, Sr., Pasco
He averaged 15 points in wins over Post Falls, Sunnyside and Wenatchee; vs. the Panthers, he added six assists, five rebounds and four steals.

Shawn Olivarez, Sr., Sunnyside
He beat two top 10-ranked wrestlers to win the 135-pound title at the CBBN/GSL 3A subregional championships.

Tyler Pickett, Soph., Richland
He won district titles in the 100-yard breaststroke and 200 individual medley -- the latter in a meet-record 2 minutes, 0.86 seconds.

Yvette Yzaguirre, Sr., Pasco
She was the top area finisher at the 4A state championships, placing fourth with a total pinfall of 1,119 -- including a high game of 223.

MOSCOW, Idaho -- For the second time in her career and the first time this season, Idaho sophomore outside hitter Allison Walker has earned Western Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week honors.
Walker, an Othello High School graduate, helped the Vandals to back-to-back three-set wins over Eastern Washington and Utah State during the week, as she averaged 6.67 kills, 4.83 digs and 6.92 points per set while hitting .202.
Walker extended her double-double streak to six matches as she finished with a season-high 24 kills and a career-best 17 digs at Eastern Washington and had 16 kills and 12 digs against defending WAC tournament champion Utah State.
