Joe Wertz finished first in the 200 IM (2:02.51) and 100 back (54.58) for Hanford in 3A district prelims at Propstra Aquatic Center in Vancouver.
Other first-place finishes for the Falcons included Miles Phillips in the 500 free (5:14.07) and Danny Tixier in the 100 breast (1:05.29).
Tixier also placed third in the 200 IM (2:09.88), Jeff Grindel was second in the 100 breast (1:05.92) and Keith Moline third in the 500 free (5:34.63).
"We're looking strong going into (today's) finals," Hanford coach Kathy Piper said.
In 4A prelims at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Cody Roberts swam to top seeds in 100 fly (52.69) and 100 back (56.75) for Richland.
Tyler Pickett finished first in the 200 IM (2:08.65) and 100 breast (1:04.91), and the Bombers' relay teams netted first in the 200 free (1:35.10) and 400 free (3:37.86).
