RICHLAND -- Hanford's Joe Traverso decisioned Kamiakin's Sam Cooke 6-5 at 152 pounds to lead off the Falcons' 44-24 CBBN Cascade dual meet win over Kamiakin on Thursday in Richland.

In a showdown of two of the top-ranked wrestlers at 145, Pedro Mendoza of the Braves got the better of Mike Ruane with an 8-4 decision.

Hanford picked up three pins and Thomas Ruane's 18-1 technical fall over Chaz Rogers at 160 to pile up the points.
