CBBN boys: Richland rips Eastmont 56-35

RICHLAND -- Clint Smith finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds and Brett Jacobs had a solid all-around game as Richland put the breaks on Eastmont's offense in a CBBN Cascade Division rout, 56-35, at Art Dawald Gym.

Jacobs finished with 13 points, four assists and seven boards. He shot 50 percent from the floor and was 5-for-5 at the line, helping fill the void of injured forward Calvin Douglas.

SUNNYSIDE -- Isreal Manzo scored 17 points and Sunnyside used a 14-0 run in the second half to hand Southridge a CBBN Columbia loss.

Andrew Mendenhall led the Suns with 25 points and eight rebounds, with Clayton Homme adding 11 points and five rebounds.

YAKIMA -- Garrett Anderson had 16 points and 12 rebounds, but it wasn't enough as Kamiakin fell in CBBN Cascade play.

The Braves led 16-9 after one quarter, then fell behind 29-21 at halftime.

They closed to within 43-41 midway through the fourth quarter but failed on three chances to tie before West Valley pulled away.
