-- Neil W. Kawaguchi has graduated from the Army ROTC Leader Development and Assessment Course, also known as Operation Warrior Forge at Fort Lewis. Kawaguchi is the son of Brian Kawaguchi of Benton City.
-- Marine Corps 2nd Lt. Joshua J. Bauer, son of Glenda Wilde of Kennewick, recently received his commission as an officer in the Marines after completing Officer Candidate School in Quantico, Va. Bauer is a 2000 graduate of Arlington High School of Arlington, and joined the Marines in July 2000. He is a 2008 graduate of Park University, Parkville, Mo., with a BS degree.
-- Army Spec. Robin R. Nelson has graduated from the Infantryman One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. He is the son of Rick Nelson of West Richland. The specialist received a bachelors degree in 2008 from the University of North Texas, Denton, Texas.
