  Why do you write about the Washington State University Cougars and the University of Washington Huskies so much? They are horrible. Write about the Oregon Ducks. They are actually good.

  WSU never wins and the Ducks beat the Huskies every year. WSU and UW are a disgrace to the PAC 12 and to the state of Washington. WSU went 4 and 8 and the Huskies went 7 and 5. The Cougars haven't been to a bowl game for eight years. The Ducks have gone to a BCS bowl for the last three years. You should write about the Ducks more.

  Why is it that all we ever hear about in the Tri-Cities is the Washington State Cougars?

  I know the school is closer to us but there is another Washington school to be proud of. It's called the University of Washington. This is a great school that doesn't get enough credit in my opinion!

  I know there are a lot of Cougar alumni here, but there are a lot of Husky alumni here as well! Please don't be so one-sided in our newspaper!

  While today's 12:30 p.m. kickoff against Nebraska marks an obvious opportunity for Washington to claim victory in its three-game "series" with the Cornhuskers, the bigger picture might be that it also gives the Huskies a chance to pronounce themselves back on college football's main stage, three years after going 0-12.
