He completed 27 of 31 passes for 351 yards and six touchdowns as the top-ranked Mustangs defeated Wapato in CWAC play.

Lindsay Garza, Soph., Othello
She had a hat trick in a win over Quincy, then scored the game's only goal as the Huskies beat Selah to take over the CWAC North lead.

Marcy Hjellum, Sr., Kamiakin
She had 16 kills, 19 digs and two aces in a CBBN sweep of Southridge, then had 15 kills and 10 digs in a three-set win over Davis.

Tori Jones, Soph., Walla Walla
She won the 500-yard freestyle and 100 backstroke and also swam on the winning 200 medley and 400 free relays vs. Kamiakin.

Casey Singleton, Sr., Southridge
He placed 18th in a CBBN meet, but finished ahead of Kamiakin's No. 5 runner to give the Suns a 27-29 victory and second place in league.

Othello's Walker earns WAC volleyball honor
MOSCOW, Idaho -- For the second time in her career and the first time this season, Idaho sophomore outside hitter Allison Walker has earned Western Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week honors.
Walker, an Othello High School graduate, helped the Vandals to back-to-back three-set wins over Eastern Washington and Utah State during the week, as she averaged 6.67 kills, 4.83 digs and 6.92 points per set while hitting .202.
Walker extended her double-double streak to six matches as she finished with a season-high 24 kills and a career-best 17 digs at Eastern Washington and had 16 kills and 12 digs against defending WAC tournament champion Utah State.

Kamiakin grad wins Big Sky soccer award
CHENEY -- Eastern Washington University forward Whitney Brannan was named the Big Sky women's soccer player of the week after scoring two goals on 11 shots and collecting two assists as the Eagles split a pair of conference matches.
Brannan, a Kamiakin graduate, broke two EWU career records Saturday -- collecting her 45th career point and 140th shot -- in a 3-0 win over Weber State.
She also holds the career record in goals (17) and assists (11).
