She had 19 assists, 14 kills and two aces in an SCAC East victory over Kiona-Benton, then had nine kills, 15 assists and four aces in a win over Royal.

Maggie Jones, Soph., Richland
She finished 15th in the elite field of the Nike Pre-Nationals in Portland, leading the Bombers to a third-place finish in the team standings.

Josh Loera, Sr., Moses Lake
He ran for 102 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and was a perfect 16-of-16 passing for 121 yards in leading the Chiefs to a 14-3 road win over Pasco.

Natilee Ruiz, Fr., Othello
Swimming unattached with Moses Lake, she swam a 2A state-qualifying time of 1:00.89 in the 100-yard butterfly and 1:58.73 in the 200 freestyle.

Jori Skorpik, Jr., Kamiakin
She had both goals in the Braves' CBBN victory over Eastmont and a hat trick in their win over Walla Walla -- the 300th of coach Chris Erikson's career.

Othello's Walker earns WAC volleyball honor
MOSCOW, Idaho -- For the second time in her career and the first time this season, Idaho sophomore outside hitter Allison Walker has earned Western Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week honors.
Walker, an Othello High School graduate, helped the Vandals to back-to-back three-set wins over Eastern Washington and Utah State during the week, as she averaged 6.67 kills, 4.83 digs and 6.92 points per set while hitting .202.
Walker extended her double-double streak to six matches as she finished with a season-high 24 kills and a career-best 17 digs at Eastern Washington and had 16 kills and 12 digs against defending WAC tournament champion Utah State.
