WAITSBURG -- Zach Bartlow's 4-yard run in the third quarter proved to be the difference as Waitsburg-Prescott edged visiting Dayton in the Southeast 2B contest.

TACOMA -- With momentum tilting toward its opponent, Waitsburg-Prescott needed a big play Saturday.
Zach Bartlow and Dalton Estes came through.
Bartlow connected with Estes on a 47-yard pass down the middle to set up a touchdown as the Cardinals rolled to their first state title, defeating Morton/White Pass 33-7 in the Class 2B championship game in the Tacoma Dome.

PASCO -- Waitsburg-Prescott improved to 7-0 overall, 3-0 in the Southeast 2B League by holding on for a 26-20 road victory over Tri-Cities Prep.
Zach Bartlow completed just four passes for Waitsburg-Prescott, but three of them went for scores.
Tri-Cities Prep triggerman Evan Whitsett completed 27 of 44 pass attempts for 352 yards and three TDs as the Jaguars (3-4 overall) remain winless in league.

ELGIN, Ore. -- Waitsburg-Prescott improved to 3-0 overall with a 50-28 road win at Elgin, keyed by Zach Bartlow's five-TD performance.
Bartlow rushed for 158 yards and threw for 168 yards.
