Prosser High wide receiver Kirby Moore -- the younger brother of Boise State freshman starting quarterback Kellen Moore -- has given the Broncos an oral commitment, he said Monday night.
Moore, a senior, will join the Broncos next summer. He also visited and had scholarship offers from Washington, Washington State and Stanford, he said.
Moore (6-foot-3, 205 pounds) committed Saturday while visiting for the Bowling Green game.
"I really wanted to play with my brother in college," Moore said. "I really thought I'd regret it if I didn't. Being down there at the games made me really want to do it."
Moore, who played about a season and a half with his brother at Prosser, is on the verge of setting a national record for career touchdown catches (he has more than 60). He had 75 receptions for 1,313 yards and a state-record 29 touchdowns last season.
He hopes to work into the rotation at Boise State as a true freshman to maximize his time with his brother.
"Coach (Chris Petersen) says he's going to throw one of the true freshmen in the mix," Moore said. "... I'd love to be in there and I'm going to try to do everything I can. I'll go down there right at the start of summer."
Moore said his brother never pressured him to become a Bronco.
"He already told me before that he was going to tell me what he would be thinking in my situation, but he wasn't going to push me anywhere," Moore said.

BOISE, Idaho -- Boise State is going to have to do more than simply stay perfect to remain on the fringes of the national title conversation.
A 48-21 win at UNLV on Saturday night -- with Kellen Moore throwing five touchdowns and passing ex-Texas star Colt McCoy as college football's winningest quarterback -- wasn't enough to push the No. 5 Broncos any higher in the AP Top 25 despite No. 2 Alabama losing at home.
That's partially because Alabama went down in overtime to No. 1 LSU, but it's also because Boise State (8-0) wasn't fully convincing in its win over the Rebels.

BOISE, Idaho -- Lost in all the record-setting numbers that quarterback Kellen Moore has posted during his career at Boise State is a running game that's been his complement.
It just wasn't that much help in the fourth-ranked Broncos' season opening win over Georgia.
So consider getting running back Doug Martin and the rest of Boise State's running game going one of the priorities when the Broncos return to the field Friday at Toledo.

LAS VEGAS -- On the day last month when Boise State senior quarterback Kellen Moore tied the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision record for career wins by a quarterback, he pointed at the pictures of all of the Broncos' seniors in the team room.
"A bunch of people up on this board all have the same record," he said. "It's pretty neat." A fitting thought from a team-first star quarterback, but the reality is much different.
Only three of those seniors have played in every game the past four seasons like Moore -- tight end Kyle Efaw, safety George Iloka and defensive tackle Billy Winn -- and coach Chris Petersen says the Broncos wouldn't have a 46-2 record since the start of the 2008 season with anyone else under center.
