St. Joseph offers Mission Week events

By the Herald staff

Several events are planned at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Kennewick through Thursday as part of Parish Mission Week.

A men's prayer breakfast, children's jamboree and women's prayer luncheon are planned today. Events for middle and high school students and a session on prayer and going deeper into adoration time are Sunday.

A luncheon for widows and widowers is Wednesday.

There also are daily sessions Monday through Thursday. The morning class, "School of the Spiritual Life," is from 9 to 10:30 a.m. The evening session starts with a potluck at 5 p.m. and is followed by a message and adoration and prayer for healing.

Catholic lay minister Brendan Case is leading the mission. Donations will be accepted.

The church is at 520 S. Garfield St.
