My retired Marine husband and I would like to thank Applebee's and Mr. Car Wash for honoring veterans by giving a free meal at Applebee's and a free car wash at Mr. Car Wash to every veteran who came to their place of business on Veterans Day. Applebee's also gave each veteran a patriotic "Thank You" pin.
Thanks to my best friend's granddaughters Victoria, Penny and Marriah, for the beautiful rose and memorial poppy they gave not only to their grandpas, but also to my husband. All of you helped to make Veterans Day extra special.
