Motorcyclist suffers leg injuries in Pasco collision
A motorcyclist in Pasco suffered critical injuries Friday night when a pickup truck turned in front of the rider, police said.
The motorcycle was going north on Road 68, and the truck was traveling south on Road 68. The truck then attempted to turn left onto Burden Boulevard and failed to yield to the motorcycle, Pasco police said.
The motorcyclist suffered significant injuries to his legs and was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Unsafe lane change injures motorcyclist
A 26-year-old Richland man was injured Saturday morning when his motorcycle collided with a car at Clearwater Avenue and Highway 395.
He was driving south about 9:30 a.m. on a 2004 Honda motorcycle when a southbound 2003 Kia, driven by Robert A. McCoy, 57, of Richland, changed lanes, striking Campeau's motorcycle.
Washington State Patrol said McCoy will be cited for making an unsafe lane change.

Mrs. Alvin F. Zettel, Kennewick, returned from the 12th Annual Death Valley Morotcycle Tour with a third-place trophy. She had to ride from Beatty to Furnace Creek, Calif. Mrs. Zettel took up motorcycle riding about three years ago.
