Two people were taken to the hospital Saturday morning after a collision on Canal Drive in Kennewick.
Emma Kleinknecht was driving east on Canal Drive at 10:33 a.m. and did not stop for a red light at the intersection with Edison Street, according to a Kennewick police report.
Her car was hit by one driven by Tessie Walker, who was traveling north on Edison Street, according to the police report. Two other cars were damaged in the accident.

Washington State Patrol troopers are imploring drivers to "wake up" to the dangers of drowsy driving.
In 2010, there were 17 people killed and 74 seriously injured in the state because motorists were either drowsy or had fallen asleep while driving, troopers said.
Nationally, drowsy driving resulted in 1,550 deaths, 71,000 injuries and more than 100,000 collisions each year, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today, Tom Denchel Ford Country of Prosser will donate $20 to Prosser High for each person who test-drives a new Ford.
A test-drive runs seven to 10 minutes. Participants must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver's license. There is a limit of one test-drive per household. The event will take place at Prosser High School, 1203 Prosser Ave.
