Just a few quick links for those of you who cant get enough of whats shaping up to be a barn burner of a gubernatorial race.
Both Democratic Gov. Chris Gregoire and Republican challenger Dino Rossi are raising money out of state this month. Politickerwa.com has a story about a fundraiser being thrown for Gregoire today at the end of the National Governors Association conference in Philadelphia.
And David Postman at the Seattle Times writes today about Rossi getting help from governors in Hawaii and Texas, noting how Rossi had previously been critical of all the money Gregoire has raised outside of Washington.
Finally, Rich Roesler at the Spokesman-Review had this campaign overview in todays paper.
UPDATE: PolitickerWa has a write-up on the latest Gregoire/Rossi poll, conducted by Republican polling firm Moore Information. It shows the race tied at 45 percent apiece. Other polls have consistently shown Gregoire to be ahead.
UPDATE: The Seattle P-Is Strange Bedfellows blog reports that Rossis campaign paid for the poll. A quick check with the Public Disclosure Commission showed Rossis 2004 campaign spent $140,000 on services from Moore Information

Financial adviser leads in Position 2 for Pasco School Board
A 30-year-old financial adviser who believes his job will help prepare him well for budget discussions was in the lead Tuesday night to become Pasco's newest school board member.
Ryan Brault had 3,685 votes, or 64 percent, for Position 2 of the Pasco School District board, according to preliminary election results. His opponent, Patrick McBurney Sr., had 2,101 votes, or 36 percent.
McBurney, 66, is a retired engineer. He previously ran for the board in 2007.

1 incumbent likely to return to West Richland council
Only one of the three incumbents running for positions on the West Richland City Council was a clear front runner in Tuesday's election.
Incumbent Tony Benegas, running for Position 7, received 1,178 votes, or 58 percent, with his opponent Johan Curtiss getting 848 votes, or 42 percent.
"The people of West Richland have spoken," Benegas said Tuesday night.
