Deputies seize 901 pot plants in Benton County
KENNEWICK -- A marijuana operation with 901 plants was shut down by Benton County sheriff's deputies Friday.
The plants were found in an undisclosed location in the county and harvested Friday morning, said Deputy Joe Lusignan.
Investigators are continuing to track down the participants and other associated grows, so additional information was not released, he said. The street value of the plants that were found is estimated to be about $900,000, Lusignan said.

The Hanford Waste Treatment Plant Project, known as the vitrification plant, and the Department of Energy will have an open house to provide information on the $12.2 billion project to build a plant to treat radioactive waste for disposal.
Santa will be on hand to collect donations for Toys for Tots.
The meeting is from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Red Lion Hotel in Richland.
