50-word statement: I would like to take this oppportunity to announce my intention to run again for Adams County Commissioner in District Two.
I would like to thank the community for the support they have given me the past four years and hope to continue to serve them for the next four. During the last four yhears wwe have accomplished a great deal, and I believe that I am now in a position to lead the county towards our goal of increased economical developmente
Three priorities:
1. Economical development for Adams County.
2. Mainting staff with increased costs of insurance and cost of living increase.
3. Providing the same services to the community with the huge increase in costs, especially fuel.

A new report from the state Insurance Commissioner shows several counties in the Mid-Columbia have the highest rates of uninsured residents in the state.

But whether those requests become a reality will depend on how Franklin County wrestles with its preliminary 2012 budget that has a deficit of about $1.8 million.
The county's draft 2012 operating budget is estimated to have about $24.3 million in expenses but $22.5 million in revenues, according to county documents.

PASCO -- A state study on consolidating 911 services may help Benton and Franklin counties decide whether they should fuse together emergency dispatch centers.
Franklin County commissioners unanimously approved Wednesday a memorandum of understanding with Benton County that would allow the state to pay for the study.
The cities, counties and fire districts in Benton and Franklin counties have been discussing combining Franklin County's dispatch center and SECOMM, or Southeast Communications Center.
