50-word statement: It has been a privilege to serve the citzens of Adams County these past 4 years. I have contributed to a number of acoplishments this past term. The new county services building in Othello, 30,000 acre feet for the Odessa and the creation of the ACDC. I have worked hard in the best interest of all and I am again asking for your vote in the comming election.
Three priorities: Creating more and better opportuneties for the citzens of Adams County.
Continue to work on expanding the Columbia Basin Project as a solution to the depletion of the Odessa.

Franklin County commissioners are having a special board meeting today to discuss the preliminary budget for 2012.
It will be at 1:30 p.m. at 1016 N. Fourth Ave. in Pasco.

As a fire commissioner serving on the Benton County Fire District 3 board, I know we need a person with board experience to be an active participant on the board. We need someone with no agenda or motives other than to serve and make the county safer and our fire department the best it can be. I feel that Gerry Sherman is the best candidate for this position.
Gerry has been attending yearly Washington State Fire Commissioner Association, Washington State Fire Chief's Association and Washington Finance Officers Association conferences to keep up to date on ever-changing board and fire department issues. Gerry's previous board member experience and 12 years as district secretary for Benton Co. District 6 make him, in my opinion, the best candidate for fire commissioner.
