50-word statement: It is time to stop working towards only what is best for our party, and start working towards what is best for our community. If in office, some of the things I will focus on are fiscal responsibility, creating

Let's give our Marines a pass on the video that was released last month. They are tired, frustrated and angry. They have been fighting an enemy who hides behind children. The rules of engagement are forcing them to carry law books in their backpacks instead of grenades. Remember our contractors hanging from bridges? The people who killed our citizens on 9/11 had no respect for our country, much less innocent people.
Our soldiers are coming home to stand in unemployment lines instead of being hailed as heroes. If our government wants our boys and girls to put their lives on the line, then it's time to fight fire with fire. Our armchair generals have finally lost their minds as well as my respect.

Constitutional freedoms
Our administration says we are no longer just a Christian nation and appears to think that the Constitution is passé. But the United States has become the greatest and most powerful nation on Earth, the greatest economy, the greatest giver of charity and the world's greatest peacekeeper because of the wisdom of our Founding Fathers in establishing protections for our God-given freedoms in the Constitution.
The Constitution, based on the Judeo-Christian ethic, has brought us prosperity and made us a great nation. The Christian philosophy is love and forgiveness, and in the matter of self-control, it surpasses any neo-Freudian psychology. Jesus said, "If anyone comes after me, let them deny themselves." This idea of self-denial is counter-cultural, and the growing ideological divide in our country today is the result the abandonment by many of our Judeo-Christian roots.
Some say we are on the verge of social and economic collapse. We are seeing the erosion of our basic freedoms of religion and conscience
