The Columbia River Track Camp for high schoolers will be held June 20-21 at Riverside High in Boardman, Ore.
Among the clinicians are former Pirates standout Keith Baker, an assistant coach at UC Santa Barbara, and Steven Boozer, a former discus All-American at the University of Alabama.
Registration is $125 through today, then goes up to $150.

WALLA WALLA -- A former Washington State Penitentiary pharmacist has been arraigned on a federal indictment accusing him of fraudulently acquiring drugs at the prison from 2010 into the spring of last year.
Nathaniel A. Baker, 33, of Walla Walla, reportedly appeared Friday in U.S. District Court in Yakima where innodent pleas were entered for him on three criminal charges.
His trial is scheduled for March 12 in Richland. Meanwhile, he remains free on his own recognizance with conditions of release.

A political newcomer who campaigned on making illegal immigration a capital crime and having Kennewick declared an English language-only community will advance to the general election.
Loren Nichols will face Mayor Steve Young on Nov. 8 in the race for a seat on the Kennewick City Council based on unofficial results in Tuesday's primary.
All three incumbents on the Kennewick council received the most votes in their bids for re-election to new four-year terms.

* 1964 -- Former Columbia Basin College football coach Rod Enos turned down an offer to join Bert Clark's football staff at WSU to take a post as the Cougars' interim track coach. Enos directed the 1961 Hawks gridders to an undefeated, untied season (9-0-0) and high national ranking, but he was no stranger to track, having been a star sprinter and broad jumper during his collegiate career at Baker University as well as an assistant for two years under CBC track coach Sig Hansen.

BAKER CITY, Ore. -- Terry Joe Robinson, 70, died Sept. 30 at his Baker City, Ore., at home.
He was born in Bellingham and lived in the Tri-Cities from 1986 to 2005.
He was a retired production manager for the Tri-City Herald.
