Shirley Hankins, representative for the 8th District of the State Legislature, announces her retirement Wednesday, May 7, 2008 in Richland, Wash. In this segment, she was asked what prompted her resignation. She first cited the most recent budget session of the Legislature. She criticize Republican leadership, talks about the sales tax, canola as a biofuel crop, and a return to 55 mph speed limit.
