Jeff Morrow was born and raised in the Tri-Cities. He graduated from Eastern Washington University with a degree in journalism, then returned home and got a job with the Herald in 1985. He's been here ever since, and has seen a lot in the Mid-Columbia sports community.

Where Are They Now? And we need your help

Soon, the Herald staff will start a new series called Where Are They Now?

It will reintroduce someone who used to be in the spotlight in the Mid-Columbia but has gone on to other things or places.

For starters, we’ll reintroduce readers to Bob Weissenfels, who played football for Navy, was a team captain, then competed as a member of the 1992 U.S. Olympic bobsled team.

We’ll also do a bigger piece on some of the members of the Tri-City Chinook, a Continental Basketball Association team that played at Toyota Center (then known as Tri-Cities Coliseum) from 1991 to 1995.

The fun part of this is being challenged to track someone down. If you have an idea for us, please let us know.
