This quarterfinal 2B game against 9-1 Almira/Coulee-Hartline started ominously for the Tri-Cities Prep Jaguars as the Warriors' Dylan Tipps ran for 56 yards and a touchdown to give ACH the early lead.
Tri-Cities Prep played host to Wilbur-Creston in the first round of the playoffs in eight-man football. The Jaguars came out fast and furious, posting 44 points on the visiting Wildcats in the first half, then scoring another touchdown early in the third quarter to end the game 50-0 on the mercy rule.

It was homecoming for Southridge High School, and the Suns football team sent its fans home happy, dispatching the cross-town Kennewick Lions 28-7 in a game that was closer than the score indicated. Southridge scored twice late in the fourth quarter just as the Lions were on the verge of making things really interesting.
