The NCAA has granted Cory Yriarte a sixth year of eligibility, Boise State announced Tuesday. Yriarte missed the 2009 and 2010 seasons after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee twice. Yriarte has played in 17 games in his Bronco career and is expected to be the team’s starting center in 2012. He is the second Boise State offensive player to earn a sixth year of eligibility for 2012, joining running back D.J. Harper.

Boise State's new football conference is reportedly growing again. CBSSports.com is reporting that Conference USA member Memphis will become an all-sports member in the Big East in 2013, the same year that Boise State is slated to join for football only.
