POMEROY A Pomeroy man and his wife were hurt today when he reportedly fell asleep and drove off Highway 12 into a field in Garfield County, the Washington State Patrol said.
James A Roosevelt, 86, was westbound in a 1997 Dodge Ram shortly after 3 p.m. when he reportedly fell asleep and drove off the west shoulder of the highway, the patrol said.
He and his wife, Evelyn Roosevelt, 78, were taken to Garfield Memorial Hospital for treatment, the patrol said.
