The Tri-City Americans Booster Club held its annual Bowl with the Americans event Sunday at Spare Time Lanes in Kennewick.
It's always a pretty well-attended event and a chance for the players in interact with the fans in a relaxed setting.
Some players were bowling for the first time -- or the first time with 10 pins instead of 5. But for veterans like Jarrett Toll, he was right at home on the lanes, rolling a 174 in his three-game total of 475. Mason Wilgosh had the top game with a 178.
My hubby, who spent many years of his life at bowling lanes in Medford, Ore., and Ontario, Ore., but now only bowls in this event, finished with a three-game total of 547 and a high game of 192. Not his best, but it's all in the name of fun.
