Hammer, French leads Bandits sweep of Flames

KENNEWICK -- The Kennewick Bandits benefitted from a pair of strong pitching performances in sweeping a Central Washington League AAA Legion doubleheader Wednesday from the Hanford Flames at Southridge High.

In the opener, Britt Hammer tossed a six-inning three-hitter, and Trux French ended the game with a two-run homer with none out in the sixth as the Bandits (27-8, 14-2) won 10-0.

In the nightcap, Landon Scott allowed one run over six innings and Kennewick completed the sweep with a 7-1 win.
