PULLMAN -- Southridge's Chad Arnold struck out seven over seven innings, leading Washington State (24-20, 13-7 Pac-10) to a 5-2 win over Oregon (14-33, 4-16) in Pullman.
Arnold improved to 6-2 and matched career highs in strikeouts and innings pitched.
