Treasure Valley stuns CBC volleyball

ONTARTIO, Ore. -- Vanessa Gomez collected nine kills and 15 digs to lead Treasure Valley over Columbia Basin College 25-21, 25-9, 25-20 in an NWAACC match in Ontario, Ore.

"We were pretty flat and pretty uncharacteristic of CBC volleyball," said Hawks coach John Patrick. "The first game was pretty competitive up to 20 points, but then they ran four straight points on us."

Brittini Butler led the Hawks (17-13, 5-2 East) with eight kills.

Set scores: 25-21, 25-9, 25-20. CBC--Brittany Butler 8 kills; Joey Larson 6 kills; Ashleigh Potts 6 kills; Lauren Williamson 17 assists. TVCC--Vanessa Gomez 9 kills, 15 digs.
