Kennewick's Bell leads 9 Mid-Columbians to finish Boston Marathon

Nine Mid-Columbians were among the 25,000 competitors who competed in Monday's 112th Boston Marathon.

Kennewick's Justin Bell, 29, was the highest-finishing Mid-Columbian in the race, placing 4,875th with a time of 3 hours, 22 minutes, 56 seconds.

Walla Walla's Damien J. Sinnott, 36, finished 7,312th in 3:32.26.

Richland's Mark A. McLean, 52, was the next area placer at 11,626 in a time of 3:48.37.

Richland's Maron Wang, 61, was the highest-placing woman from the Mid-Columbia, taking 13,824th overall in a time of 3:57.05.

Penny Colton, 56, of Richland, was next at 14,927 and 4:02.01.

Richland's Anita L. Case, 51, followed at 15,436 and 4:04.59; Kennewick's Lisa Brouwer, 41, placed 16,010th at 4:08.32; Richland's Kathryn H. Pryor, 50, was next at 16,849th and 4:14.19; and Richland High School tennis coach Michelle Martin, 45, was next at No. 18,332 with a time of 4:26.55.
