Nerdcore superstar Beefy sat down with me over some coffee for my first Vloggin' With BethZilla webisode.
Our topics ranged from Dutch brownies, to Papa John's cookie dough. We even played a rousing game of "Who'd You Rather" where they must pick out of two people who they would rather do an activity with.
Fans of Beefy will be glad to hear that he has multiple upcoming albums in the works and will be attending this year's Penny-Arcade Expo during Labor Day Weekend.
My favorite part of the interview is when he bashes his coffee cup, spilling it all over the table in front of us... and does nothing about it except look helplessly into the camera. That right there is priceless.
There was plenty of footage that didn't make it into the vlog, which is unfortunate. Beefy, as always, gives me plenty of material to work with. If I could post hour-long interviews online, I probably would, but I would also probably get fired.
Stay tuned 'til the end where there's a few outtakes. Again, I could have made 15 minutes worth of outtakes, but even capping it at the 10 minute mark was pushing it. I mean, we all know how people lose interest after two minutes... uh... what were we talking about?
I started playing Final Fantasy X again. I hate when you go back to playing a game you remember being so visually gratifying, and then realizing the graphics are now pretty lame. The cutaway scenes are still spectacular, even compared with today's video games. Square Enix had their stuff together. Now if only they'd hurry up and distribute Final Fantasy XIII.
