Even though summer may be over, there’s still tons of good music to warm up to.
Sadly, one of my favorite bands, Eclectic Approach, has had some very bad news. Their singer, Jowed Hadeed, contracted Swine Flu on the opening night of their first national tour. Hadeed fell unconscious and finally awoke in the Northwest Hospital ICU on Sept. 18. Since then, he’s been on the road to recovery and even has a benefit concert in his name next week on Oct. 17 at Jack-son’s Sports Bar in Kennewick.
If you need a fun pick-me-up, head on over to Dax’s Bar & Grill in Richland for a live DJ with Nikfic tonight at 9 p.m.
Classic rock group Horse will be playing at Dax’s at 8 p.m. on Oct 9. When you’re through, head on over to Jack-Son’s for a 21 and up show starting at 9 p.m., featuring Vengeance, Eyes of Ayden and 45th Parallel.
If you’re more of a blues fan, check out Romagossa Blu on Oct. 10 at 9 p.m. at Dax’s.
In the mood for the group Ashylus? Also that evening at 7 p.m., Ashylus, Oceans of Red, Jedediah the Pilot and Never Met a Deadman, will be performing at The Lounge (in CUP church) for $10.
The band is busy this fall, performing on Oct. 24 at 5 p.m. at The Warehouse in Kennewick. They’ll be sharing the stage with I Declare War, Those Who Lie Beneath, Mortal Remains, The Drip, and The Saddest Day. Should be a very hardcore evening. Tickets cost $10.
Then, the following evening, Ashylus is teaming up wtih Dr.Acula at The Cretin Hop in Spokane at 5:30 p.m., tickets cost $12.
