Meltdown Pt. 2

The Tri-City Meltdown

Tri-City Events put on the much talked about musical brew that was ready for serving this past Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007 at Jackson's Sports Bar and Restaurant in Richland. The all-day affair rocked the Jackson's parking lot, with the stage against G-Way and music filling the streets.

And what would a block party be without women on wheels?

The Atomic City Roller Girls made their roller derby debut. Giving demonstrations, they explained what the rules were and what body parts are off-limits when it comes to shoving your opponent. The girls, decked out in matching shirts and colorful socks, skated out in style.

Rock, pop, reggae, blues, jazz, indie - you name it and the Meltdown will brought it. The line-up included:

Ronin, Beefy, Francois, Alphy Nics, 2quik, Folding In, Mister Orange, Lions & Eagles, Table Top Joe, Ricardo Gutierrez, Chase Thompson, Romagossa Blu, and Black Cat Bone.

The event lasted well into the night, with a large beer garden and happy Tri-City customers. For a first-time block party, Tri-City Events put on one hell of a show. Here's to many more....
