It is very nearly an established fact that the N. P. Railroad Co. is to build a "cut-off" line from Missoula Mont., to Pasco. Surveyors are now in the field. This line will shorten the distance to the east about a hundred miles. It is to pass through Lewiston, Id., and come down the Snake River.
