After suffering almost continuously since 1912 from the effects of a paralytic stroke, the Angel of Death finally released Thomas Henry Evans, 52, from his long borne burden. After his third stroke in 1918, the cumulative effects of these vicissitudes overcame his inimitable patience and tenacious hold on life.
