2009 preview: Southeast 2B outlook

Here's the 2009 season preview.

Asotin will defend its league title with a relatively young group of players.

LG Max Castle is the only returning starter from last season's O-line, but the Panthers have a bevy of skill players: TE Jesse Davis, sr. (6-6, 255); WR Matt Small, jr. (6-2, 185); TE Greg Jose, sr. (6-2, 240); TB Riley Spooner, sr. (5-8, 175); and QB Ben Servatius, jr. (6-2, 195) . ... Pomeroy's roster is loaded with seniors, although the team lost some speed to graduation. ... Tekoa-Oakesdale/Rosalia will be hard-pressed to end its 14-year playoff drought.
