W. Valley ends Sunnyside's boys season

RICHLAND --Matt Borton scored 20 points and West Valley ended Sunnyside's state hopes in a regional game by a 54-47 margin.

The Rams play Shadle Park at 3:45 p.m. today at Hanford for the region's final berth to state.

Shadle lost 61-55 to Rogers.

James Sanchez scored 15 points for the Grizzlies and Alfredo De La Barrera added 14.
