Hermiston boys 87, Pasco 78

HERMISTON -- Hermiston went on a 7-0 run to start the fourth quarter to push its lead to 66-56, and the Bulldogs (3-2) went on to a nonleague victory over Pasco (2-3).

"We pressed the whole game, and our press just broke down (during the run) and they got some easy baskets," said Pasco coach Chad Herron.

Luis Ortiz scored a game-high 23 points for Hermiston, which is still without Cody Meeks as he recovers from a torn knee ligament. Andre Griffin had 20 points and five assists for Pasco.
