Softball roundup: Hanford reaches district semis

YAKIMA -- Hannah Garza recovered from a shaky first inning, and Hanford's offense erased a 3-0 deficit to beat West Valley 5-4 in the semifinals of the CBBN 3A district tournament.

The Falcons will host the championship round next Saturday against West Valley. Hanford needs just one win to claim its first district title since 2003.
