Softball roundup: Ki-Be's Trull no-hits Mabton in crossover

BENTON CITY -- Senior Jayle Trull recorded her first no-hitter as the Kiona-Benton cruised to a 19-0 victory over Mabton in the SCAC district crossover.
Sarah Vannoy went 3-for-3 with three doubles for the Bears, which play at Naches on Thursday at 4 p.m.

Sara Schlachter's seventh inning double gave Dayton the run it needed to eliminate Waitsburg-Prescott in Game 1 of a Blue Mountain 2B district tournament loser-out round.
Game 2, the Tekoa-Oakesdale/Rosalia and DeSales matchup, was called because of rain and has been rescheduled for 5 p.m. Monday.
