Softball roundup: Antonovich's bat salvages split for Pasco

WALLA WALLA -- Megan Antonovich had a home run and a triple to lead visiting Pasco over Walla Walla to salvage a CBL 4A doubleheader split with a 3-1 victory

Wa-Hi won the opener 1-0 as pitcher Kaela DeBroeck struck out nine.

Pasco's Jessica Solbrack fanned 12 in the loss.

Talissa Huntsman threw a five-inning no-hitter to lead Richland to a victory in the nightcap as the Bombers completed a CBL 4A sweep at Columbia Playfield.

Katie King got the Bombers started by firing a two-hitter in the opener.

Richland can win the league title for the 11th straight year by sweeping a doubleheader with Pasco on Friday at Columbia Playfield.

Allegra Wilde tripled home Deni Teel with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning as Kamiakin completed a CBL 3A sweep of Kennewick at Lawrence Scott Park.

The Braves, who were without reigning league MVP catcher Renae Kimbell (sprained knee), need only a split with West Valley on Friday to clinch a share of the league title and the No. 1 district seed.
