Connell defeats Highland for district title

CONNELL -- Highland scored the equalizer in the 78th minute, but Connell won the South Central Athletic Conference district title Thursday in a shootout by a 4-3 margin.

Connell's Freddie Baragan recorded a goal and an assist in regulation. He also had one of the Eagles four conversions in the shootout.
