RICHLAND -- Malfunctioning lights at Hanford's field forced the postponement of the Falcons' CBBN game with crosstown rival Richland.
SUNNYSIDE -- Haille Heid had two goals and one assist and Leonie Oostrom added three assists to lead Hanford over Sunnyside 6-0.
CONNELL -- Brianna Casper scored two goals and assisted on two others, and Rosa Hernandez had two goals and an assist as Connell rolled to a SCAC win over Kiona-Benton.
WENATCHEE -- Sam Lee headed in a corner kick by Teea Bunker just as the ref's whistle blew to close out the second overtime and Richland (3-0) won at Wenatchee 3-2 in a CBBN girls opener.
PASCO -- The play was as innocuous as the thousands that had come before it, a simple little boot from the back line that was headed out of bounds in a meaningless Pasco scrimmage this summer.
