Richland sophomore Danielle Taylor finished sixth in the uneven bars finals at the 4A state championships at the Tacoma Dome Exhibition Hall.

Taylor followed up a 9.275 in Friday's qualifying with a 9.325 in the finals.

"I thought I would be a little lower (in the standings) after my routine," said Taylor, who was scored by one judge at 9.4. "It's not so much what you score; it's just about doing your best. After that, there's nothing more you can do."

Kelsey Walsh of Prairie won the event with a 9.6.
